Why Cheat? Why do relationship involve infidelity?

Cheating only occurs when there is a definitive lack of trust and communication. Often times cheating, in the physical act, is either an attempt to illicit some sort of attention, or an attempt to satisfy an unmet need. By communicating openly about what each person wants, expects, and/or desires from a relationship: Cheating can never exist! How can "stepping outside of the bounds of our relationship" ever be considered cheating when we both agreed that "this" is what I want or am willing to give, and "that" is what you want or is willing to give; and "we both" decided that it is OK to look for "that" or "this" elsewhere, as long as WE are OPEN about our feelings and expectations?

You see, "cheating" is never in the heart, only in the EGO (the mind) of being SELFISH, and not SELF-LESS!
